Education is an important tool that enables women and girls to participate in decisions that affect their lives and improve their social status. The Village Girl Movement aims to increase enrolment in primary education and assist existing schools in improving their infrastructure and providing educational equipment
AGRICULTURAL PRACTICE
Open spaces in rural areas seem to go unused. We want to encourage not only the girls, but the community at large to invest in the development of agriculture. This will not only help us achieve the first Sustainable Development Goal-No Poverty, but it will also encourage more girls to consider a career in agriculture
BIANNUAL BEAUTY PAGEANTS
Beauty Pageants are not only focused on just the beauty of all girls and women. The Village Girl Movement defends the idea of pageants and considers pageants to be a contest that helps women of all ages to be more confident, to know their self-worth and to improve their intellectual wellness.
COMPUTER TRAINING SKILLS (COMING SOON!!!)
At the moment there is little access to computers in rural areas. And 80% of the schools do not provide computer training/education. As a result, we are left with a community who might not be computer literate- hindering their opportunities of getting decent employment in the future. The Village girl Movement aims to provide a computer center where young girls will be taught computer basics by our qualified IT graduate.

COMMUNITY HEALTH OUTREACH
Healthcare outreach programs play a huge role in the lives of community members. The Village Girl Movement will reach health care through activities such as health education, basic health screening- whilst engaging in social work with vulnerable populations.
